Condyline is a cytotoxic agent used to treat genital warts.

Directions

Condyline Topical Solution is for external use only.

This medicine comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about this medicine.

Apply Condyline Topical Solution using the supplied applicator. Apply only the minimum amount needed to cover the wart. Wash your hands thoroughly after using this medicine. Allow the medicine to dry before allowing other skin surfaces to touch the treated area. Any leftover medicine or supplies used with this medicine should be placed in a plastic bag and disposed of as instructed by your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist.

Side Effects

Check with your doctor as soon as possible if any of the following side effects occur:

  • bad odor
  • bleeding of treated skin
  • blistering, crusting, or scabbing of treated skin
  • bloody urine
  • burning feeling of treated skin
  • dizziness
  • itching of treated skin
  • pain during sexual intercourse
  • pain of treated skin
  • problems with foreskin of penis
  • redness or swelling of treated skin
  • scarring of treated skin
  • skin ulcers of treated skin
  • vomiting

Other side effects may occur that usually do not need medical attention. These side effects may go away during treatment as your body adjusts to the medicine. However, check with your doctor if any of the following side effects continue or are bothersome:

  • dryness of treated skin
  • peeling of treated skin
  • soreness or tenderness of treated skin
  • stinging or tingling of treated skin
  • trouble in sleeping

Other side effects not listed above may also occur in some patients. If you notice any other effects, check with your doctor.

Overdose

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. This medicine may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include

  • nausea
  • vomiting
  • diarrhea
  • change in mental status
  • weakness or fatigue
  • unusually slowed breathing
  • seizures

Storage

Store this medicine at room temperature, between 15°C and 25°C (59°F and 77°F) in the original tightly-closed container, away from heat and light.
